Terms and Conditions

By booking a travel service or package through the NZ Short Breaks web site, you ("the Customer") agree to the following terms and conditions;

  1. Pan Pacific Travel Corporation Limited, Level 1, 333 Remuera Rd, Remuera, Auckland, New Zealand has provided a booking service to NZ Short Breaks web site users. Pan Pacific Travel acts as an agent to each supplier ("Supplier") in facilitating the arrangements for tours, sightseeing, accommodation, car hire and other components of your travel package. Pan Pacific Travel does not own, manage or operate any of the tours, transportation, accommodation, activities or other services included in your travel package. All receipts, bookings and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by the Suppliers of those services.
  2. Each Supplier is independently responsible for their own services and not those of other Suppliers. A Supplier is not the agent of or liable for the services provided by other Suppliers.
  3. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated. All prices are subject to availability and change at any time until full payment is received.
  4. All prices are inclusive of New Zealand GST, where applicable.
  5. You acknowledge that your credit card will be processed by Pan Pacific Travel Corporation Limited and 'Pan Pacific Travel Web NZ' will appear as the vendor on your credit card statement.
  6. The following items are NOT included in the price of your package: airfares, items of a personal nature such as beverages, room service, laundry, meals (other than specified in the itinerary), travel insurance and the cost of anything else not specifically identified as being included in your selected itinerary or package.
  7. The customer may be required to present a valid credit card or cash deposit at check-in at hotels for incidental charges.
  8. Fees:

Cancellation Fees:

a)A full refund less an administration fee of NZD$ 45 AND any supplier cancellation fees will be made. NB: Individual suppliers

Cancellation policies may be accessed by clicking on the Supplier name and then selecting the 'policies' tab.  

b)Cancellations must by advised by email to reserve@panpacific.co.nz . Please ensure you quote your itinerary reference number.

c)We will acknowledge all cancellations in writing confirming the refund amount due after the administration fee and any supplier fees are deducted.

 

Amendments or changes:

One change per booking is permitted Free of Charge* Further changes incur an amendment fee of NZ$ 25 per amendment*.

* In the event you amend your booking and select a different, higher priced product or your new date has a higher charge than the original date, then you will still pay the difference however we will not charge you a fee. If your amendment results in a cancellation - for example, you cancel one supplier and substitute another, you will still be liable for any cancellation charge from the first supplier if one is applicable.

  1.  On Apply services - Some services may not be able to be immediately confirmed for the dates requested and so may show a status of On Apply. If you proceed to the Book and Pay stage, we will send a request to the supplier and email you within 24-hours (our office hours are 0830am - 5.30pm Mon - Friday NZ local time) with confirmation or a recommended alternative. Your credit card will be debited for all services including the On Request service. In the event that service cannot be confirmed, we will refund the cost of that service or apply the cost towards an alternative service
  2. All descriptions and itineraries have been prepared with information received from the Suppliers of components in each travel package. Pan Pacific Travel makes its best efforts to ensure the accuracy of this information but accepts no liability for any errors or omissions.
  3. Pan Pacific Travel reserves the right to substitute accommodation or other components of an equivalent or better standard due to availability.
  4. Pan Pacific Travel receives a commission from Suppliers for providing this booking service.
  5. Pan Pacific Travel makes no warranty or representation about the suitability of any product or service on its website.
  6. Pan Pacific Travel does not sell, rent or provide your personal information to any third party however it requires personal information from you to process your booking with third party Suppliers. Pan Pacific Travel will only use or disclose personal information for the purpose of providing its services or such other purposes which are related to that purpose in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988
  7. Customer agrees that Pan Pacific Travel nor any of its representatives shall not be liable to you or any other person for any loss, injury or  damage whatsoever to any person or their belongings or otherwise arising out of or in connection with the offer and/or supply of goods or services by Pan Pacific Travel or any third parties (including but not limited to the supply of accommodation, transportation or other services) resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrences including breakdown/faults in equipment, strikes, theft, delay or cancellations or changes in itinerary or schedules etc.

    Pan Pacific Travel nor any of their representatives do not accept any liability whatsoever and shall not be liable to you or any other person for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or any distress, disappointment or inconvenience caused either directly or indirectly by any events or acts or omissions which are beyond their control, including but not limited to, war, civil commotion, fire, floods, acts of God, act of government or accident or failure of machinery or equipment.
  8. New Zealand operates under a no faults insurance system which restricts individual's rights to sue but does provide international visitors with access to immediate emergency medical treatment through a scheme operated by the NZ Government known as Accident Compensation Commission (ACC). We strongly recommend however, that you purchase travel insurance that covers, as a minimum, medical treatment including repatriation, travel disruption and baggage loss or damage.   9. These terms and conditions do not affect Customers' statutory rights.
